  The new carpet and space in the living & dinning room was great.
  There were some not so great things
  - it is a noisy place to stay. You can hear other guests around the hotel as I think the pool is open quite late. You can hear people use water etc above you. You can hear the garbage truck. You can hear people on the street.
  - the rooms themselves are non smoking, however you can smoke on the balcony so if you have your door open for fresh air it’s not so fresh.
  
  If you stay here and paying via savings or cheque make sure you saying you are paying via savings or cheque account as the staff automatically put my transaction through as credit & applied the surcharge. I then had to wait over 45 mins to have the surcharge refunded.
  
  We would choose somewhere else to stay next time in Canberra.

  We had a 3 bedroom family apartment for 2 nights. Plenty of room, as 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and one bathroom. The location is great - despite the rain, we walked to dinner one night at the Hotel Kingston and one night at a great thai restaurant at Kingston shops. The only thing was the upstairs floor was so, so noisy - it creaked every time you put a foot on it - so late night bathroom trips etc woke everyone up. Nice few supplies of tea and instant coffee.

  This place is for families, lots of noise from other rooms but the room was spacious and staff very friendly and helpful.

  This place looks really nice, the staff are good and switched on. Good location. The kids love playing in the pool and everyone else seemed to love coming here.

  Quite happy with accomodation. Rooms large and on the whole clean (few dirty spots on carpet in living room).
  Nice building, very quiet, very warm and comfortable.
  Would come back again.
